Vaporeon was spending a day at the pools like he liked to do from time to time. However, it often got lonely being alone at the pool. He didn’t have many friends, and rarely would anyone show up that wasn’t already busy with someone else. With there being multiple small pools visitors could use, he would often be alone, in a pool by himself, while others would be in small groups in the others, but too busy for him to feel comfortable interacting with.
While at the bottom of the pool once, thinking about how nice it would be to have friends to go with, he spotted a jigglypuff on a floatie in the water above him. He hadn’t realized the jigglypuff had shown up, as he was too busy thinking to himself. This seemed like the perfect opportunity for the vaporeon to try to make a friend though.
With his heart racing a bit from nervousness, he swam up to the surface where the jigglypuff was. The jigglypuff was a bit startled seeing the vaporeon pop out of the water, but he laughed it off.
“Heh, sorry-“, the vaporeon said, worried he ruined his only chance at making a friend.
“Nah I’m sorry! I didn’t see you there when I hopped in! I should have looked” the jigglypuff continued, “I’ll go if you’d rather have this pool to yourself!”.
“Oh, no it’s alright, you don’t have to leave if you don’t want to, I’d appreciate the company if anything”, the vaporeon nervously responded.
“I’d love to, I was hoping to make some new friends here at the pool myself!” the jigglypuff exclaimed. “Do you come here often?”, he continued.
“Yea, it gets rather lonely going alone though… I don’t really have any friends to go with”, the Vaporeon said, still nervous, but starting to be more comfortable with the friendliness of the jigglypuff.
“Well… you seem pretty cool to me, maybe we can become friends!” The jigglypuff exclaimed!
“I’d like that a lot”, the vaporeon responded.
